Promo Mechanics
General Terms and Conditions
1. The promotion is open to individuals who meet the following criteria:
• Filipino Citizens or residents of the Philippines;
• 21-64 years old; and
• No existing principal EastWest credit card.
2. Promotion Period is from July 1, 2025 to August 15, 2025.
3. Employees of EastWest Bank, its affiliates, agencies, and their relatives up to the second degree of consanguinity or affinity are disqualified from joining the promo.
4. Application for a JCB Platinum or JCB Gold credit card from EastWest Bank shall be through the exclusive link provided on the official website and social media pages of EastWest Bank during the promo period.
5. Approved applications for JCB cards will earn raffle entries as follows:
• JCB Platinum: Two (2) raffle entries.
• JCB Gold: One (1) raffle entry.
6. The credit card applications that will subsequently be approved will qualify for the raffle promo.
7. EastWest Bank shall have the right to certify eligibility of the winner/s and whether his/her account satisfies the criteria set in the promo mechanics.
8. By joining this Promo, the client confirms that he/she has read, understood, and agreed to this Promo mechanics.
9. The EastWest Terms and Conditions Governing the Issuance and Use of EastWest Credit Cards found at https://www.eastwestbanker.com/help-and-support-center/cards/terms-and-conditions shall apply, as well as the EastWest’s Data Privacy Statement found at https://www.eastwestbanker.com/privacystatement, are hereby incorporated by reference and shall form an integral part hereof.
10. Subject to the Data Privacy Act of 2012, the winner authorizes EastWest Bank to disclose and publish his/her name and photos. This is to support marketing and publicity efforts related to the promotion. Further, he/she consents to the sharing of his/her personal information to JCB and to suppliers or merchants for purposes of the redemption in the event he/she is declared as the winner.
11. The winners may be required to participate in publicity programs which EastWest may organize from time to time in connection with the Promotion and if so, such winners must attend the said functions. Expenses and/or costs in attending such functions will be shouldered by the winner.
12. All questions or disputes regarding the Cardholder's eligibility to the Promotion shall be resolved by EastWest within reasonable time. In case of disputes relating to the Promotion, the decision of EastWest shall be conclusive with the concurrence of DTI.
Raffle Draw and Prizes
1. Winners will be drawn on August 29, 2025 via electronic raffle draw at the EastWest Bank Corporate Office, The Beaufort, 5th Ave. corner 23rd Street, Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City by an EastWest Bank representative in the presence of a DTI representative, and to be witnessed by other EastWest Bank credit card issuing representatives.
2. Three (3) Winners will each receive a travel package for two (2) to Seoul, South Korea, which includes:
• Round-trip economy class airfare ticket for two (2) from the Philippines (via Manila, Davao, or Cebu only) to Seoul, South Korea, inclusive of 20kgs checked in baggage allowance for each passenger;
• Philippine Airport Travel Tax for two (2) passengers;
• 5D/4N 4-star hotel accommodation in Seoul, South Korea, based on double occupancy;
• Daily breakfast at the hotel;
• Roundtrip airport transfers in Seoul;
• Transfer and Tickets for two (2) to Nami Island, Alpaca World, and Gangchon Rail Bike;
• Travel insurance (up to 60 years old only); and
• Travel Agency Fee.
3. The following are excluded from the travel package:
• Onsite translation services, if required;
• Local transportation services within South Korea;
• Hotel incidentals (e.g. phone, mini-bar, laundry, etc.);
• Any modifications to the package inclusions (e.g. rebooking of tickets, extension of stay, additional passengers, booking of add-ons etc.);
• Any applicable taxes aside from the Philippine Airport Travel Tax and any final tax; and
• Tourist entry visas; guests to contact local embassies for further details on entry requirements.
4. A cardholder can only win once in this promo.
5. Raffle prizes are transferable, not for sale, and not convertible to cash.
6. Raffle prizes exceeding P10,000 shall be subject to a 20% final tax to be shouldered by EastWest.
Notification and Claiming of Prizes
1. Winners will be notified by EastWest via written letter sent through postal mail or courier delivery services to the Cardholder’s registered address within fourteen (14) calendar days from the Raffle Draw date. Additionally, an SMS/Viber to the Cardholder’s mobile number, and/or email to the Cardholder’s e-mail on record will be sent.
2. The winners will be announced and posted on the official social media pages of EastWest Bank.
3. To claim the raffle prize, the winner must provide the documents below to EastWest Bank 60 days from receipt of the registered mail. Further instructions shall be provided to the winners via postal mail, SMS/Viber, and/or email.
• Tax Identification Number (TIN);
• Scanned copy of a photo bearing valid government-issued ID; and
• Signed Winner Acknowledgement Form.
4. Winners must coordinate their preferred travel period with EC Flights Travel and Tours and booking of the airfare ticket must be completed by December 5, 2025.
5. After December 31, 2025, unclaimed prize/s will be forfeited in favor of EastWest Bank with the prior approval of DTI.
6. Travel must be completed by May 31, 2026.
7. Blackout dates apply for regular, special, and additional holidays in the Philippines, as well as South Korea holidays.
8. Winners will shoulder other expenses not included in the travel package, such as, but not limited to, visa fee, pocket money, other meal expenses, any modification to the package (e.g. rebooking, extension of stay, additional passengers, booking of add-ons, etc.) and other ancillary costs.
9. Winners will be responsible for the processing, application, and payment of the required travel documents, such as, but not limited to, passport and visa before his/her travel date.
10. EC Flights Travel and Tours will only finalize the tour package arrangements after the visa has been approved and issued by the Embassy of the Republic of Korea. The visa application must be applied at least ninety (90) days before the preferred travel period.
