Promo Mechanics
1. The EastWest JCB Japan Cross-Border Get Cash Rebates Promo (the “Promo”) shall run from May 15 to August 31, 2026 (“Promo Period”).
2. The promo is open to all EastWest JCB Gold and Platinum Principal cardholders (“Cardholders”) whose credit cards are active and in good credit standing*.
3. Cardholders who register for the Promo, use their qualified EastWest JCB Gold and Platinum credit cards for Japan cross-border (overseas) retail face-to-face transactions, and reach the minimum accumulated spend requirement (“Qualified Spend”) during the Promo Period will receive a cash rebate, subject to the following mechanics:
a. Register for the promo from May 15 to August 31, 2026 through www.ewlend.com/2026EWJCBJPNPromo. Only transactions made after successful registration shall be considered qualified.
b. Combined Principal and Supplementary accumulated spend requirement and corresponding Cash Rebates:

c. Qualified transaction/s must be made from May 15 to August 31, 2026.
4. The following transactions are not qualified for the Promo:
a. Online/Mail Order/Telephone Order (MOTO) transactions
b. International Cash Advances
c. Trading Services and Remittance transactions
d. Transactions from casinos, and/or merchants engaged in Gambling
5. All transactions made in foreign currencies/merchants or those processed by foreign acquirers shall be automatically converted to Philippine Peso at the JCB currency conversion rate on the day the transactions are processed, plus a Foreign Transaction Service Fee which shall be comprised of JCB’s Assessment Fee and EastWest’s Service Fee.
6. The EastWest JCB Gold or Platinum credit card must be active and in good credit standing* at the time of posting of the Cash Rebate.
7. The earned cash rebate will be credited and posted to the Principal Cardholder’s Statement of Account (SOA) within thirty (30) banking days after the end of the Promo Period. The rebate will be reflected as a credit or payment for purchases or any outstanding balance on the principal cardholder’s account. It is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or in-kind.
8. The promo cannot be availed in conjunction with other promotional offers of EastWest credit cards (including, but not limited to rebates, discounts, spend anywhere, activation promos, etc.). If found to have multiple redemption, EastWest has the right to reverse the rebate that has been credited to the principal cardholder’s account. It has the sole discretion in qualifying the transaction/s of a cardholder based on the mechanics of the Promo. Once EastWest determines that the transaction/s is/are qualified for the Promo, the same transaction/s can no longer be used for another promo, regardless if it meet/s the criteria of the other promo.
9. EastWest reserves the right to reverse or adjust the credited rebate if the qualified transaction/s are disputed or cancelled on a later date, or if the transaction is found to be invalid or fraudulent, or a reversal of entry is made on any of the qualified transaction, or if there is erroneous posting of the rebate, or if the transaction was used to register or redeem from another ongoing promo of the Bank.
10. In case of dispute in respect to the Promo including, but not limited to, the cardholder’s eligibility, coverage periods and fulfillment, the decision of EastWest, with the concurrence of DTI shall be final. All questions or disputes must be raised by the cardholder to EastWest within sixty (60) calendar days from the posting of the rebate to the principal cardholder credit card account.
11. By joining this Promo, the Cardholder confirms that s/he has read, understood, and agreed to the mechanics of the Promo as well as the Terms and Conditions Governing the Issuance and Use of EastWest Credit Cards.

*Cardholders in good credit standing are those whose accounts are not delinquent, not under investigation due to fraudulent activities, those whose EastWest Credit Cards are not reported lost or stolen and those who have not, otherwise, violated any of the Terms and Conditions Governing the Issuance and Use of EastWest Credit Cards.
