Up to 10% Cashback in Japan

The promo is open to EastWest JCB credit cardholders whose accounts are active, current, and in good credit standing. Cardholders in good credit standing are those with EastWest JCB credit cards which are not reported lost or stolen, whose accounts are not delinquent, not under investigation due to suspected fraud, and those who have not violated any of the Terms and Conditions governing the Issuance and Use of EastWest JCB credit cards.

Terms and Conditions:
1. JCB credit cardholders can get up to 10% cashback (JPY 10,000) at in-store merchants in Japan for a total spend of JPY 100,000.

3. Only purchases made at in-person merchants in Japan are eligible for this promotion. 

4. The cashback amount will be calculated based on the final settlement amount paid, including taxes and any other special offers that may be used in conjunction with it. 

5. The right to receive this offer may not be transferred to another person or exchanged for cash. 

6. Advance application and registration via the designated website are required. Your registration is confirmed upon receipt of the confirmation email. Some applications are not eligible for this promotion if your registration is incomplete or if your card is not eligible.

7. Some JCB cards may not be eligible for this promotion. Please check the website for the eligible cards when applying. Applications with ineligible cards cannot be processed, even if the confirmation email is sent.

8. Transactions eligible for this promotion are based on the date of purchases at the area where you make purchases and will be counted after completing the advance registration (including the registration date). However, transactions may not be counted when it takes a long time to process and the information does not arrive within a certain period of time.

9. The cashback for this campaign will be refunded by the issuing bank of the JCB card used by the cardholder and will be credited sequentially after late May 2026. The actual date when the cashback appears on the cardholder’s credit card statement depends on the processing schedule for overseas transactions of each issuing bank. Depending on the transaction date, it may take several months from the transaction to the cashback being credited. 

10. Only transactions settled in JPY are eligible for this promotion. 

11. Amounts less than the significant digits of the currency in question will be rounded down. The exchange rate at which a transaction is settled may be different from the rate at which cashback is processed. It depends on the rate at which cashback is processed by the bank.

12. Cash back may not be made in the following cases:
- If the transaction of goods or services has been changed, cancelled, or refunded, or if it is deemed as fraudulent use. 
- If you cancel your card or do not set up an account by the cashback date - When the card number has been changed due to card changeover or reissue before the cashback date 
- In case your membership is invalid at the time of cashback - When payment cannot be processed during the promotion period due to system failure, etc. - When the payment is made through a third-party institution instead of directly at the participating merchant. 
- If there is an error in entering the card number on the registration - If the card actually used differs from the card number registered in advance - If the registration is made by ineligible card for this promotion

13. If false information entering or violations of the terms are found, applications or registration may be rejected, canceled, or restricted on the cashback, without prior notice.

14. JCB International Co., Ltd. and the merchants are not responsible for any disputes related to this promotion. 

15. JCB International Co., Ltd. and our merchant are not responsible for any disputes related to this special offer.

16. In the event that a cardmember violates these terms and conditions or causes damage to JCB International Co., Ltd. or a third party through fraudulent or illegal acts in connection with the participation in this promotion, JCB International Co., Ltd. may suspend or cancel this promotion or other sales transactions, in which case all conditions for granting cashback accumulated up to the time of cancellation shall be retroactively forfeited.

17. Personal information such as email address and card number registered at the time of registration will be appropriately managed in accordance with "Handling of Personal Information in the JCB Cashback Campaign." designated by JCB International Co., Ltd.. Please refer to the privacy policy for details. 

18. Even during the registration period, the website may be temporarily unavailable due to system reasons. 

19. After completing registration, cancel application or status confirmation cannot be done on the designated website. For any requests, please refer to the "Application required Cashback Campaign Terms of Use".

20. The promotion period indicated here is as of the time of the information release. This campaign may continue after the above period.
