Promo Mechanics
1. The EastWest Horizons Welcome Rewards Promo (“Promo”) is a limited-offer acquisition and deposit build-up campaign of EastWest Bank (“EastWest”) for qualified New-to-Bank (“NTB”) individual clients who are onboarded to EastWest Horizons and who meet the required fresh funds placement and maintaining ADB balance requirements.
2. The Promo shall run from June 1 to July 31, 2026 (“Promo Period”).
3. The Promo is open to NTB individual clients who:
- are opening their first-ever deposit relationship with EastWest during the Promo Period;
- open an eligible EastWest Savings or Checking Account during the Promo Period;
- are onboarded or tagged to EastWest Horizons during the Promo Period; and
- are at least eighteen (18) years old.
4. To qualify for the Promo, NTB individual clients must meet the following requirements during the Promo Period:
- complete and sign the official Promo Enrollment Form;
- place the required fresh funds into an eligible participating account;
- maintain the required balance tier for six (6) consecutive months or a continuous period of one hundred eighty (180) days; and
- nominate an eligible EastWest principal credit card for reward crediting or apply for a new EastWest Credit Card, subject to EastWest’s credit evaluation, approval process, and applicable policies.
5. The following deposit products are eligible for the Promo:
- Regular Peso Savings Accounts;
- Regular Peso Checking Accounts; and
- Regular USD Savings Accounts.
6. The following accounts are not eligible for the Promo:
- Super Saver accounts;
- Super Checking accounts;
- Time Deposit accounts;
- dormant or restricted accounts;
- accounts under legal hold or AMLA-related restriction;
- temporary, settlement, or trustee accounts; and
- accounts where the NTB individual client is not the primary account holder.
7. “Fresh Funds” refer to new funds brought into EastWest and shall exclude:
- transfers from existing EastWest accounts;
- proceeds from EastWest deposits, time deposits, investments, or bonds; and
- transfers between accounts of related parties or accountholders.
8. EastWest reserves the right to validate the source, ownership, eligibility, and qualification of the funds placed under the Promo.
9. Qualified NTB individual clients may choose only one (1) Promo option upon enrollment. The selected Promo option may no longer be changed, converted, or interchanged after enrollment.
9.1 Option 1 – Six (6)-Month Holdout with Advance Reward Release
- Qualified NTB individual clients shall deposit and maintain the full required fresh funds amount throughout the six (6)-month holding period.
- Qualified NTB individual clients may receive the Welcome Rewards within thirty (30) days, but not later than sixty (60) days, from account opening, successful deposit validation, onboarding to EastWest Horizons, submission of the official Promo Enrollment Form, and placement of the required funds on hold, subject to validation and full compliance with Promo mechanics.
9.2 Option 2 – Flexible ADB throughout the six (6) consecutive months maintaining period or a continuous maintaining period of one hundred eighty (180) days.
- Qualified NTB individual clients may use the funds as needed, provided that the required balance tier is maintained based on ADB throughout the six (6) consecutive months or a continuous period of one hundred eighty (180) days.
- The Welcome Rewards shall be credited within thirty (30) days after completion of the six (6) consecutive months maintaining period or a continuous maintaining period of one hundred eighty (180) days, but not later than sixty (60) days from the end of the maintaining period, subject to validation and full compliance with Promo mechanics.

Welcome Rewards via EastWest Credit Card Rebate
10. Qualified NTB individual clients shall receive one-time Welcome Rewards based on the qualified fresh funds and maintaining ADB balance requirements below:

11. The Welcome Rewards may only be awarded once per qualified NTB individual client under this Promo.
12. The Welcome Rewards shall be credited to the qualified NTB individual client’s nominated EastWest principal credit card. If the qualified NTB individual client does not have an EastWest principal credit card, the client agrees to apply for an EastWest Credit Card, subject to EastWest’s credit evaluation and approval. If credited to the nominated EastWest principal credit card, the Welcome Rewards shall be credited net of applicable Documentary Stamp Tax and other applicable fees and charges.
13. If the qualified NTB individual client does not qualify for an EastWest principal credit card, EastWest may, subject to its determination and applicable policies, credit the Welcome Rewards to the qualified NTB individual client’s regular Savings or Current Account, subject to twenty percent (20%) withholding tax based on the amount of the Welcome Rewards.
14. If the qualified NTB individual client does not have an EastWest Credit Card, the client authorizes EastWest to process a new EastWest Credit Card application using the information and documents submitted to the EastWest, subject to EastWest’s credit evaluation, approval process, and applicable policies.
15. The default card offered shall be the EastWest Visa Platinum Credit Card, if the qualified NTB individual client is eligible. Otherwise, EastWest may offer or issue the most suitable available EastWest Credit Card, subject to EastWest’s credit evaluation, approval process, and applicable policies. Qualified NTB individual clients who are approved as principal cardholders of an EastWest Visa Platinum Credit Card shall be eligible to receive an additional ₱5,000 Welcome Cash Reward, provided that they meet the required ₱10,000 retail spend within two (2) months from card activation, subject to the applicable terms and conditions published at https://www.eastwestbanker.com/cards/creditcards/visa-platinum.
16. For joint accounts, all co-depositors must sign the official Promo Enrollment Form. However, only the primary account holder who is tagged as the EastWest Horizons member, as determined by EastWest’s records, shall be eligible to participate in the Promo and receive the corresponding Welcome Rewards.
17. The qualified NTB individual client must maintain the required balance tier for six (6) consecutive months or a continuous period of one hundred eighty (180) days from the date the fresh funds are validated by EastWest.
18. Failure to maintain the required balance for the full maintaining period shall result in disqualification, forfeiture, reversal, or clawback of the Welcome Rewards, as applicable.
19. The NTB individual client may be disqualified from the Promo if any of the following occurs:
- withdrawal or reduction of funds below the required balance during the maintaining period;
- closure of the participating account before completion of the maintaining period;
- submission of incomplete, inaccurate, false, or inconsistent information;
- violation of Promo mechanics or applicable EastWest policies; or
- fraud, abuse, misrepresentation, collusion, gaming, circumvention, or unauthorized activity in relation to the Promo.
20. In the event of disqualification, early withdrawal, closure of the participating account, breach of the maintaining requirement, or any activity intended to circumvent the Promo mechanics, EastWest reserves the right, to the extent allowed under applicable laws, regulations, and EastWest policies, to forfeit, reverse, recover, or debit from any of the client’s EastWest accounts the Peso equivalent of any Welcome Rewards that may have been credited or released to the qualified NTB individual client.
21. If the available balance in the qualified NTB individual client’s EastWest accounts is insufficient to cover the amount to be recovered, the client shall remain liable to EastWest for the remaining amount due.
22. This Promo cannot be availed of in conjunction with other ongoing EastWest promotions, unless otherwise expressly stated by EastWest.
23. EastWest reserves the right to validate account eligibility, balances, source of funds, credit card eligibility, credit card usage, payment behavior, and overall compliance with Promo mechanics.
24. In case of dispute relating to eligibility, balances, fulfillment, reward computation, disqualification, clawback, or any other matter connected with the Promo, EastWest’s validated records shall prevail for purposes of computation and validation, without prejudice to the rights of clients under applicable laws and regulations.
25. EastWest may modify, suspend, or terminate the Promo in cases beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, system failures, labor disputes, regulatory actions, court orders, war, epidemic, or similar force majeure events.
26. The General Terms and Conditions Governing EastWest Deposit Accounts published at https://www.eastwestbanker.com/help-and-support-center/deposit/terms-and-conditions and the Terms and Conditions Governing the Issuance and Use of EastWest Credit Cards published at https://www.eastwestbanker.com/help-and-support-center/cards/terms-and-conditions and other applicable EastWest policies shall apply.
27. By participating in the Promo, the NTB individual client:
- confirms that he/she has read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Promo Terms and Conditions.
- authorizes EastWest to collect, use, process, store, and share relevant account, transaction, contact, and credit-related information for purposes of Promo enrollment, validation, reward fulfillment, credit card application processing, servicing, audit, monitoring, and related communications, in accordance with EastWest’s Data Privacy Policy published at https://www.eastwestbanker.com/privacystatement.
28. For any inquiry or concern regarding the Promo or EastWest Deposit Accounts, the NTB individual client may contact EastWest’s 24-Hour Customer Hotline at (+632) 8888-1700.
29. All questions or disputes regarding a client’s eligibility for the Promo shall be resolved by EastWest. In case of disputes relating to the Promo, the decision of EastWest shall be conclusive, with the concurrence of the Department of Trade and Industry.
