Enjoy 4% p.a. on your US Dollar Time Deposit

1. The USD Time Deposit Promo (“Promo”) runs until December 31, 2025 (“Promo Period”) in all EastWest Bank (“EastWest”) branches nationwide.

2. Promo is available to new-to-bank (“NTB”) and existing-to-bank accounts/customers (“Customer/s”).

3. New-to-bank customers pertain to individuals who do not have any valid deposit account (eg. savings, checking or time deposit) with EastWest prior to the Promo Period.

4. To avail of the Promo, Customer must open a US Dollar Time Deposit ("USD TD") account of at least USD 10,000 in fresh funds with a 60-day term (“Term”) during the Promo Period.

5. Fresh funds refer to funds that are not withdrawn/sourced from any EastWest account, and funds must be incremental to the Customer’s total average deposit balances in the last 3 months from the time of USD TD placement.

6. Qualified USD TD accounts opened during the Promo Period will earn 4% p.a. interest rate (“Promo Rate”), subject to a 20% withholding tax.
