TERMS AND CONDITIONS
A. REFERRER INCENTIVE
1. The EastWest Member-Get-Member ("MGM") Promo is open to EastWest Mastercard principal credit cardholders, herein referred to as "Referrer", who receive a Viber/SMS message or electronic direct mailer (e-DM) and are in good credit standing.* Employees of EastWest and Corporate Cardholders are not qualified to join the promo.
2. Promo period is from June 25 to September 30, 2025.
3. Referrers must register for the promo via the EastWest System Tech Assistant or ESTA chatbot where they will be asked to enter a one-time password or (OTP), which will be sent to their registered mobile number, for account verification.
4. Upon successful registration, Referrers will be sent a unique referral link via ESTA, which they can forward to their Referrals, e.g., relatives and friends.
5. To qualify for Giftaway eGifts, the Referrer must ensure that his/her Referrals apply for EastWest Mastercard credit cards through ESTA using the referral link that was forwarded to them.
6. Referrals must meet the following criteria:
- Must not have an existing principal EastWest credit card or a cancelled EastWest credit card within the promo period. Otherwise, both Referrer and Referral shall not qualify for the promo;
- Must be 21 to 65 years old, Filipino citizen and residing in the Philippines;
- Must have a residence landline or postpaid mobile phone AND business landline; and
- Must have a Gross Annual Income of:

7. To qualify for the Promo, the Referral’s application must be:
- received within the promo period; and
- submitted with complete information and documentary requirements via ESTA
8. For every approved Referral, the Referrer will receive a Giftaway eGift voucher (“Referrer Incentive”) depending on the Referral’s approved card type.

9. The Referrer must be in good credit standing* throughout the duration of the promo period and upon sending of the Giftaway eGift code. Otherwise, the Referrer Incentive will be forfeited in favor of the Bank.
10. In the event that the Referral is referred by two (2) or more Referrers, the Referrer Incentive shall be awarded to the Referrer whose referral link was clicked on first by the Referral regardless of whether the application was completed through another referral link. The Bank shall strictly enforce a one (1) Referrer Incentive and Referral Welcome Gift policy per valid approved Referral.
11. Referrers will be notified of their Referral’s application status through their e-mail address and mobile number on record. A unique Giftaway eGift code will be sent to Referrer’s mobile number on record within forty-five (45) days from the card approval date of their Referral.
12. The Principal Cardholder must ensure that his/her mobile number on record is updated. EastWest shall not be responsible for Giftaway eGift codes sent to outdated mobile numbers.
13. Upon receipt, the Cardholder may use his/her Giftaway eGift code by presenting the same at any Giftaway partner merchant (visit https://giftaway.ph/browse to view the list of partner merchants).
14. Each Giftaway eGift code shall be valid for sixty (60) days and should thus be redeemed within the said period. Each Giftaway eGift code may only be used once.
15. Giftaway eGifts are not convertible to cash.
16. Products purchased using the Giftaway eGifts are not refundable in cash.
17. For questions or clarifications on the use of Giftaway eGift, Cardholders may e-mail Giftaway Philippines at support@giftaway.ph.
18. All terms and conditions relating to Giftaway eGift and its use as indicated in the Giftaway website shall apply.
19. Only applications coursed through ESTA with complete information and documentary requirements shall be processed. Incomplete Referral applications shall be cancelled. All submitted MGM applications and documentary requirements shall belong to EastWest and shall not be returned.
20. Disputes regarding the Referrer’s eligibility, coverage of the promo dates, and fulfillment shall be resolved by EastWest at its sole discretion with prior approval from DTI.
B. REFERRAL INCENTIVE
1. Newly approved Referrals under the EastWest Member-Get-Member ("MGM") Program shall be eligible to receive a Giftaway eGift provided that the approved Referral is “new-to-bank”. New-to-bank means the approved Referral does not have any existing EastWest principal credit card or cancelled EastWest principal credit card within the promo period.
2. Promo period is from June 25 to September 30, 2025.
3. The Welcome Gift shall be in the form of Giftaway eGift (or bonus KrisFlyer miles for EastWest Singapore Airlines Platinum Mastercard) subject to the spend requirement per approved card type as follows:

4. The spend requirement may be composed of a single or accumulated transaction/s. Only straight/retail transactions, merchant installment, Insta-Cash and Balance Transfer transactions (where the principal amount is considered), online purchases, mail/telephone order (MOTO) transactions and Quick Bills/auto-charge transactions are eligible under the promo. Cash advance availments, Balance Conversion and Convert-to-Installment transactions, fees and charges are not considered as qualified spend for the promo.
5. The Referral will qualify for the Welcome Gift (Giftaway eGift) once he/she achieves the minimum spend requirement within ninety (90) days from the date of card approval.
6. A unique Giftaway eGift code will be sent to Referral’s mobile number on record within forty-five (45) days after the Referral has reached the spend requirement.
7. The Referral must be in good credit standing* throughout the duration of the promo period, spend period and during the processing of the Welcome Gift. Otherwise, the Welcome Gift will be forfeited in favor of EastWest.
8. The Referral must ensure that his/her mobile number on record is updated. EastWest shall not be responsible for Giftaway eGift codes sent to outdated mobile numbers.

15. This promo may not be used in conjunction with other EastWest acquisition/activation promos. In case the approved Referral qualifies for more than one promo, he/she may only avail of one offer. Multiple or invalid promo availments may result to charging the full cost of the reward to the approved Referral’s account, at EastWest's discretion.
16. The approved Referral understands and agrees that, as a condition for receiving the Welcome Gift under this program, he/she shall retain his/her EastWest Mastercard until its next anniversary date. In the event that the approved Referral cancels his/her EastWest Mastercard prior to its next anniversary date, he/she shall be charged through his/her EastWest Mastercard an amount not exceeding the value of the Welcome Gift awarded.
17. The issuance and use of the EastWest Mastercard are subject to the Bank’s credit policies and the Terms and Conditions Governing the Issuance and Use of EastWest Credit Cards. Card type issuance is subject to the existing Marketing program guidelines, Credit policies and procedures of EastWest.
18. Disputes regarding the Referral’s eligibility, coverage of the promo dates, and fulfillment shall be resolved by EastWest at its sole discretion with prior approval from DTI.
*Cardholders in good credit standing are those whose accounts are not delinquent, not under investigation due to suspected fraudulent activities, those whose EastWest credit cards are not reported lost or stolen and those who have not, otherwise, violated any of the Terms and Conditions Governing the Issuance and Use of EastWest Credit Cards.
