Advisory: Temporary Suspension of E-Invoice Issuance
Effective immediately, EastWest is temporarily suspending the issuance of e-invoices to comply with the Bureau of Internal Revenue's (BIR) electronic invoicing guidelines under Revenue Memorandum Circular (RMC) No. 98-2026. During this period, valid BIR-compliant manual invoices will continue to be issued, and banking transactions will remain unaffected.
E-invoice issuance will resume once the Bank secures the necessary regulatory permits, but no later than December 31, 2026, in line with the implementation timeline prescribed by the BIR.
