EastWest Bank deepens its partnership with the Loaves x Fish Foundation Inc. (LXFFI) through a Php 1 million donation that will help sustain the Foundation’s kitchen operations in Alabang. The ceremonial signing was held on December 3, 2025, with Ambassador Joseph M. Yap, LXFFI Founder, and EastWest CEO Jerry Ngo.

For EastWest, this initiative reflects a purpose rooted in service. Alongside financial support, EastWest employees take part in volunteer work at the Loaves x Fish kitchen. They help prepare ingredients, pack meals, and spend time with the people in the community.

Loaves x Fish is a charity kitchen inspired by the biblical story of shared compassion. Their mission is fighting hunger and feeding hope thru providing nutritious meals for the forgotten, abandoned and marginalized members of society. Meals are prepared by volunteers in cooperation and distributed free through 30 beneficiary NGOs.

“This partnership reflects our belief that meaningful change begins with simple acts of care,” said Ambassador Yap. “When we give our time and share our resources, we are reminded of the power of community, of what can be multiplied when we act together.”

LXFFI expects to end the year with 250,000 meals donated in its second year of operations.

Through consistent volunteerism and steady support, EastWest helps Loaves x Fish sustain its mission of nourishing both body and spirit, reminding us that simple acts, done with care, can create lasting impact.
