Frequently Asked Questions

Sell Foreign Currency allows users to perform real-time US Dollar* Foreign Exchange (FX) trading services via EasyBiz. Conveniently transfer from your own USD account to your eligible PHP account based on indicative FX rates from the Daily Reference Bulletin Rate provided by EastWest Treasury.

 

*Currently applicable to USD only. Other currencies to be activated soon.

Only business clients who have requested for the activation of this feature can perform transfers of their USD to PHP accounts via EasyBiz.

Submit the following documents to your Store of Account:

  • EasyBiz Customer Setup Form​​
  • EasyBiz Business Banking Terms and Conditions​​
  • Appropriate Business Documentation
    • Sole Proprietorship: DTI Certificate of Registration​
    • Partnership: Partnership Resolution​
    • Corporation: Board Resolution or Secretary’s Certificate

Eligible accounts for:

  • Regular Foreign Currency Deposit account (in USD)
  • Regular Corporate Checking account
  • Chequemax
  • SuperChecking
  • US Dollar SuperSaver

 

The following corporate accounts are not eligible:

  • Time Deposits
  • Other non-USD Foreign Currency Deposit accounts

You must have at least one USD (source) and one PHP (receiver) account enrolled to Easybiz. Both accounts must be ACTIVE without any transaction restrictions.

The minimum amount per transaction is USD 100. Daily Maximum Transaction Amount is USD 100,000. Limits are subject to change.​

Currently, FX Sell transactions via EasyBiz are FREE.

Conversions will be based on indicative FX rates from the Daily Reference Bulletin Rate provided by EastWest Treasury.
