- Answer the pre-qualification questions, then tap “Continue”.
- Choose your preferred credit card, then tap “Continue”.
- Enter your personal information.
- Nominate your preferred name to be displayed on the card, then tap “Continue”.
- Enter a Promo/Invite Code (if applicable).
- Capture a photo of your ID and a selfie, then tap “Continue”.
- Provide additional details and upload the required documents.
- Review your application, then tap “Submit”.
To apply for an EastWest credit card, the applicant must meet the following criteria:
- Must be a Filipino citizen or a local resident foreigner.
- Principal card applicant must be at least 21 years old.
- Must have a residence landline or mobile phone and business landline.
- Note: Mandatory to have a mobile phone
- Must have a minimum gross annual income as follows:

- Latest BIR Form 2316/ITR
- Certificate of Employment stating breakdown of compensation
- Letter of Appointment/Personnel Action Memo
- Salary Adjustment Memo issued within the latest month
- Latest three (3) months' payslips
- Latest Service Record for government employees (if applicable)
- Valid credit card reference and latest month's statement of account (if applicable)
For Principal Card Applicants (Self-Employed):
Any one (1) of the following:
- Latest BIR Form 1701/ITR
- Latest Audited Financial Statements (if applicable)
- Valid credit card reference and latest month's statement of account (if applicable)
For Local Resident Foreigners:
Any one (1) of the following:
- Alien Certificate of Registration with Permanent Status
- Visa issued under Section 9d and 9g of Immigration Act of 1940
- Special Investor’s Resident Visa (SIRV)
- Visa issued by Philippine Economic Zone Authority – 47(a)(2)
- Embassy Certification (for Diplomats and Embassy Personnel)

The processing time for a credit card application typically takes 10 to 15 banking days from the date of submission of complete documents. Please note that submitted documents will not be returned.

You will receive an SMS notification from EastWest Bank once your application has been approved or declined. For follow-ups, you may check your application status by calling EastWest Bank Customer Service at (02) 8888-1700.
Once approved, your credit card will be delivered within 15 to 20 banking days to your registered mailing address.

To activate your virtual card:
- Check SMS sent to your registered mobile number for activation instructions.
- Contact EastWest Bank Customer Service – Call (02) 8888-1700 for assistance with activation.
Your virtual card can be used for online transactions immediately after activation while you wait for your physical card to arrive.
No, you cannot register to EasyWay using the virtual card. Registration requires the activation of your physical card. You may complete your registration within 1-3 days after activating your physical card.
Yes, you can lock or unlock your virtual card anytime through the ESTA Chatbot for added security and control over your transactions.
Yes, applicants may reapply after six (6) months.
Yes, but the application will be subject to credit review and approval.
