  FIXED INCOME SECURITIES

Fixed Income Securities are obligations of issuers to pay investors a regular and fixed amount of cashflows (i.e. coupon interest) over a period of time wherein the face amount invested (i.e. principal amount) is paid back to the investor at the end of term. Investors can enjoy the benefits of having a stable source of passive income over a certain period of time. Fixed Income Securities are sometimes referred to as debt securities or bonds.

  GOVERNMENT SECURITIES

Medium to long term sovereign investments that can provide steady income payout while securing your principal investment by the issuer or the Philippine Government. This is ideal if you are looking for a dependable income higher than the regular Time Deposit. It is relatively a safe investment and yet allows you to diversify your investments.

A. PESO

Treasury Bill (TBILL) Short-term investment securities issued by the Philippine Government through the Bureau of Treasury (BTr) which represent obligations of the Republic of the Philippines. Generally, the BTr auctions T-Bills with maturities ranging from 1 month, 3 months, 6 months and 1 year maturities.
Retail Treasury Bond (RTB) Medium to long-term investment securities issued by the Philippine Government through the Bureau of Treasury (BTr). Proceeds of the issuance are used to fund various government projects and programs.
Fixed Rate Treasury Note (FXTN) Similar to RTBs, FXTNs are medium to long-term investment securities issued by the Philippine Government through the Bureau of Treasury (BTr). But unlike RTBs, the minimum investment for FXTN is Php 10,000.00

B. US DOLLAR

Dollar/Foreign Currency Sovereign Bonds Medium to long-term investment securities issued by governments denominated in US Dollars or other foreign currencies. These represent obligations of the issuing governments. Investors, however, would also be exposed to the potential benefits and risks associated with foreign exchange fluctuations.

  CORPORATE BONDS

Bonds that are medium to long term negotiable instruments issued by Corporations registered with SEC.

Peso Corporate Bond Medium to long-term investment securities issued by SEC-Registered Philippine corporations. These securities represent obligations of the issuing company. Proceeds from the issuance would be used for various cash requirements of the issuer.
Dollar Corporate Bond Medium to long-term investment securities issued by corporations denominated in US Dollars or Foreign Currencies. These securities represent USD/Foreign Currency obligations of issuing companies. Investors would be exposed to the potential benefits and risks associated with foreign exchange fluctuations.
