Billings and Payments in Philippine Peso

Easy Repayment Terms

You have the option to pay the total statement balance, the minimum payment due, or any amount in between on your payment due date. Should you opt to pay an amount less than your total statement balance, a finance charge of 3.50% per month will be applied.

Cash Advance Facility

You can report the loss of your Hyundai MasterCard anytime, anywhere through our 24-Hour Customer Service at +63 (2) 888-1700 or 1-800-1888-8600 Domestic Toll-Free. In the U.S., you may also call our Toll-Free Hotline at
1-866-828-6296. You will be free of any financial liability from fraudulent charges made on your Hyundai MasterCard from the time you reported the loss.

For billing addresses within Metro Manila, replacement cards will be released for delivery within 3 banking days from the time the card was reported lost. While for addresses outside Metro Manila, replacement cards will be released for delivery within 7 banking days from the time the card was reported lost. A card replacement fee of Php200 shall be charged to your Hyundai MasterCard.

Over-the-Counter Fee
A fee of P500 will be charged for cash advance transactions availed over-the-counter at EastWest branches in addition to the Cash Advance Service Fee and applicable Finance Charge.  The proceeds of the over-the-counter cash advance transaction shall be net of the Over-the-Counter Fee.
Late Payment Charge 7.50% of the minimum payment due or Php500, whichever is higher
Over Credit Limit Fee Php500 will be charged whenever the outstanding balance exceeds the prescribed credit limit within the billing period.
Returned Check Fee Php1,000 for every returned check
Retrieval Fee Php200 for the retrieval of each retail/installment and mail-order/telephone-order charge slip; Php1,250 for the retrieval of each travel and entertainment charge slip

Foreign Currency
Conversion Fee
Transactions made in currencies other than Philippine Peso shall be automatically converted to Philippine Peso at the MasterCard currency conversion rate plus EastWest's foreign currency conversion fee of 2.50% at the time the transaction is posted.
Gambling and Gaming Fee A 3.50% service fee shall be charged on gaming/gambling transactions and/or transactions made at gaming/gambling establishments, including the placement of wagers, purchase of lottery tickets or other values in conjunction with any gaming or gambling activities.
Multiple Payment Fee Cardholders are allowed a maximum of three (3) payment transactions in non-EastWest payment channels within a statement cycle. A Php40 fee will be charged for each EastWest Credit Card payment made after the 3rd payment transaction. Payments made in EastWest channels will not incur any charges.

Closed Card Account
Service Fee
For Closed Card Accounts which have credit balances, the cardholder shall make the appropriate arrangement with EastWest to collect the remaining credit balance within three (3) months from the date when the Card Account is closed. Should the Cardholder fail to do so within this 3-month period, EastWest shall have the right to deduct from such credit balance a monthly service fee of Php200 to cover for administrative costs incurred by EastWest in maintaining the cardholder's account.
Minimum Payment
Due Computation
Your Statement of Account shall reflect your Minimum Payment Due which is composed of the following: (a) past due amount; (b) 4% of your total statement balance inclusive of all fees and charges and monthly installment/s, if any, but exclusive of any unbilled installment amount; and (c) any amount in excess of your credit limit. The Minimum Payment Due is the sum of (a), (b) and (c); or Php200, whichever is higher.
Finance Charge
At every billing cycle, you have the option to pay the total statement balance, the minimum payment due, or any amount in between. A Finance Charge will be imposed should you choose not to pay the Total Statement Balance on or before the payment due date as set out in your Statement of Account. The Finance Charge is based on your Average Daily Balance (ADB) computed from transaction date for cash advance, credits/payments and retail transactions/monthly installments/fees until the next cycle cut-off. Any Finance Charge due but unpaid shall form part of the principal balance and will continue to earn Finance Charges.
