Promo period: April 1 to June 30, 2009 only
- The Tuition Buddy promo period is from April 1 to June 30, 2009.
- The Tuition Buddy promo is open to all active and current EastWest bank credit cardholders.
- To avail, the cardholder must completely fill-out the application form and attach the necessary support documents:
- For tuition fees:
- Unpaid tuition fees: School’s official enrollment assessment form (check will strictly be payable to the school).
- Paid tuition fees: School’s Official Receipt (O.R.)
- For school-related expenses:
- Official receipt representing school-related-expenses – addressed to cardholder, cash, “C”
- Charge slips representing school-related-expenses – must be under the cardholder’s name
- Official receipts submitted will not be returned. Photocopies are acceptable.
- Dates of the official receipts and charge slips must be within 3 months prior to application date.
- The minimum amount required per transaction is P3,000 (single or accumulated receipts) and must be within the available credit limit of the cardholder at the time of application.
- If the available credit limit is insufficient and below the amount requested for, EastWest Bank has the sole discretion to process the application to the extent of the available credit limit without prior notice to the cardholder.
- All payment release under Options A and B will be done via issuance of a Managers Check payment.
Under Option A. (with attached Enrollment Assessment Form), check will be payable to the school
and delivered only to the cardholder’s office or home address within Metro Manila as indicated
on the application form. Under Option B (with attached Official Receipt), check will strictly be
payable to the cardholder and shall be delivered either to the cardholder's office or home address
within Metro Manila or deposited to the cardholder’s bank accounts as indicated on the application form.
- For check delivery requests, the cardholder must personally receive the check after presenting any valid ID (SSS, GSIS, PRC, passport, driver’s license, and company ID). For check deposit requests under Option B, bank account number indicated must be in the name of the cardholder. The depository bank that shall be indicated must have a branch in Ortigas Center and/or Makati Central Business District and check deposits are accepted. Any transaction fee incurred for the check deposit will be charged to the cardholder via debit to the credit card account. EastWest Bank will not deposit to school bank accounts.
- Allow up to six (6) banking days for check delivery requests and for check deposit requests.
- A pre-termination fee of 5% of the net remaining balance to be paid shall be imposed in case of pre-termination. The net remaining balance shall be recomputed less the remaining interest.
- EastWest Bank shall have the absolute exclusive right to approve or reject credit card and tuition buddy applications based on its internal policies or for the reasons it deems justifiable.
- The terms and conditions governing the issuance and use of the card are incorporated herein by reference and made integral part hereof.
- Your monthly amortization will form part of your minimum amount due.
