Terms and Conditions:

  1. Promo period is from November 15, 2009 to February 28, 2010.
  2. Eligibility:
    • All Principal EastWest Bank Credit Cardholders in good credit standing* are eligible to join this promotion. All spending made by the Supplementary Cardholder(s) will form part of the Principal Cardholder’s total spending.
    • Cardholders will earn one (1) raffle entry for every Php1,000.00 single/accumulated spending posted to the Cardholder’s Statement of Account (SOA) during the promo period.
    • Newly approved EastWest Bank Credit Card accounts will earn twenty (20) bonus raffle entries upon card activation.
    • The EastWest Bank Credit Card must be applied for and subsequently approved by the Bank and activated by the Cardholder within the promo period.
  3. The following transactions will form part of the accumulated spending to earn raffle entries: retail purchases, billed monthly installments, cash advance transactions, insurance premiums, utility, telecommunication and insurance bills enrolled under the Quick Bills facility. Annual membership fees, finance charges, cash advance service fees, late payment fees and all other fees are excluded from the accumulated spending that may earn raffle entries.
  4. All raffle entries will be computer-generated and will be electronically drawn using an automated raffle system.
  5. Raffle draw will be held on March 12, 2010, at three o’clock in the afternoon at the EastWest Bank Cards Marketing and Merchants Division, 15/F San Miguel Properties Building, St. Francis Ave., Ortigas Center, Mandaluyong City, in the presence of a Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Representative.
  6. Two(2) Grand Prize winners will be drawn and will each be awarded one (1):
    New FORD Everest (2009) – 2.5L, 4x2, Automatic Transmission
  7. Winners must be in good credit standing* at the time of the draw.
  8. Winners will be notified by EastWest Bank (EWBC) through registered mail and via telephone call.
  9. The winners each shall unconditionally agree to be featured in any or all publicity materials related to the Promo without further compensation. Names and/or pictures of winners may be featured in major broadsheets and will be posted in all EWBC branches. The winner shall shoulder any and all transportation and other expenses to be incurred in claiming the prize.
  10. All prize taxes under this Promo shall be shouldered by EWBC.
  11. Prizes are transferable but not convertible to cash.
  12. Winners will be given sixty (60) days from receipt of notification letter to claim their prizes. Prizes not claimed within the sixty (60) day period shall be forfeited in favor of EWBC with prior approval from DTI.
  13. In claiming the prizes, winners are required to present the registered mail notice sent by EWBC, at least two (2) valid identification cards with photo and signature (i.e. driver’s license, company ID, SSS or GSIS photocard, passport, senior citizen's IDs, etc.) and their EastWest Bank Credit Card. Winners are requested to proceed to the EWBC Cards Marketing and Merchants Division, 15/F San Miguel Properties Building, St. Francis Ave., Ortigas Center, Mandaluyong City, to claim their Prize Certificates.
  14. The brand new Ford Everest (2009) may be claimed at any Ford dealer outlet. Winners must present their Prize Certificate upon claiming the same. Winners may choose from the available colors of the specified Ford Everest model at their chosen Ford dealer outlet. The unit will be made available by Ford to the winners within ninety (90) days after the winners have presented their Prize Certificate and have chosen their preferred color. Registration, insurance and other costs incidental to the ownership of the brand new Ford Everest (2009) shall be solely for account of the winner thereof.
  15. All expenses related to the claiming or availing of the prizes shall be for the winners’ account.
  16. In case of disputes, EWBC’s decision will be final.
  17. All employees of EWBC and its advertising and PR agencies as well as their relatives up to the 2nd degree of consanguinity or affinity, are not qualified to join the raffle promotion.

    *Cardholders in good credit standing are those whose accounts are not delinquent,  not under investigation due to suspected fraudulent activities, those whose  EastWest Bank Credit Cards are not reported lost or stolen, and those who have not,  otherwise, violated any of the Terms and Conditions Governing the Issuance and Use of EastWest Bank Credit Cards.
