You don't have to keep your physical statement of account when you can just go to the web and select the month you wish to view or download. We provide a twelve month history available via online (starting January 2007 onwards).

Yes. Using state of the art technology, EastWest Bank provides you the capability to view the front and back scanned images of your negotiated checks. The checks are usually available for viewing a week after they clear.

To experience this, just go to your transaction history and click any check number colored blue (with scanned image already) and the check images will appear: Click on any, front or back scanned image, to enlarge image.

This convenient feature is helpful for reconciliation purposes. Only those who have Net Access will enjoy this convenience, so enroll your accounts now.

EastWest Bank will retain your original checks for a period of two (2) years from date of negotiation, after which your checks will be destroyed. The Bank will however; retain an electronic image of your checks for a period of 10 years.

Yes. Your eStatement is a PDF version of your actual printed statement.

You can get your original checks via a written request addressed to your maintaining branch.

Easier Storage
The Bank will let you download, save and print your statements and negotiated checks in your PC. This will reduce the bulk of monthly statements that you are currently receiving by replacing the physical check with data images making storage more convenient.

Yes. Sec. 7 of R.A. 8792 under the Electronic Commerce Act, states that, "an electronic document shall be the functional equivalent of a written document and is admissible as evidence in court"

eStatements will be retained on a 12-months history cycle while the check images will be available for the current month plus two previous months, just like the online transaction history.

Yes. This is another way of simplifying your monthly reconciliation. You may avail of this option by making a written request appropriately coursed through your maintaining branch.

Yes. It can be downloaded in a text file format which can be imported to a spreadsheet file or uploaded to an application for faster reconciliation.
