Your Statement
Let's take a closer look at your billing statement

- Cardholder Name & Billing Address
This shows the Principal cardholder name and registered address where all card-related communications will be sent.
- Account Number
This refers to your 16-digit EastWest Bank MasterCard number.
- Credit Limit
This is your credit line granted by EastWest Bank. This is the maximum credit that you may avail and is shared with your Supplementary account/s.
- Cash Advance Limit
This is the maximum cash advance amount that you may avail. This limit is also shared with your Supplementary accounts.
- Interest Rate
The monthly interest charged to the total outstanding amount whenever you pay an amount less than the total amount due. The interest rate varies depending on the transaction or merchant category of the purchases made.
- Statement Date
This is the last day of the period covered in the Statement of Account. This is also the date when the statement is generated.
- Payment Due Date
This is the last day of payment so that account does not become delinquent and does not incur late charge. You are given 24 days after statement date or cut-off date to settle your obligations. Check payments made on this day will only be credited to the account after clearing time for cheques.
- Previous Balance
This refers to the balance carried forward from the previous Statement of Account.
- Purchases and Cash Advances
The total amount of purchases and cash advances against the credit line within the statement period.
- Fees
Applicable fees, if any, due for the particular statement period.
- Charges
Interest charged on purchases and advances based on the prevailing rate if payment is less than the previous statement’s Total Amount Due. This also includes the penalty fee which is the late charge for payment due last statement and not paid as of last due date.
- Installment
Summary total of all transactions made through the Installment facility.
A simple fraction beside the transaction detail indicates the number of payments made against the required number of payments for a particular Installment transaction.
- Payments
Your total payments, if any, made for a particular statement period.
- Credits
The total credit adjustments, if any, made by the Bank for a particular statement period.
- Total Amount Due
Total amount you owe inclusive of purchases, cash advances, finance charges, penalties, fees, etc. as of the statement date.
- Minimum Amount Due
This refers to the minimum amount you need to pay on or before due date to keep your account up to date.
- Transaction Date
Actual date when purchase or cash advance was made.
- Post Date
Actual date when transaction is posted by the Bank to the Cardholder’s account.
- Transaction Description
Indicates the details of your transaction/s
- Currency Amount
This refers to the original currency amount of your overseas transactions.
- Peso Amount
This refers to the actual amount of each transaction. Conversion to peso is done if purchases are made abroad.
- Points/Raffle Summary
Shows your points and raffle entries balance, if any.
- Payment Instruction Slip
Payment slip you can use when making payments that indicates your payment instructions.
