Promo Mechanics:

Eligibility and Participation
  1. The Rewards Program is open to all Principal EastWest Bank credit cardholders.
    The program will run from March 16, 2009 to June 30,2009.
     
  2. Cardholders are automatically enrolled in the Rewards program upon card approval.
     
  3. All redemption requests must be received by Eastwest Bank on or before August 31, 2009 to be considered valid.
     

REWARDS POINTS ACCUMULATION

  1. Cardholders earn one (1) Rewards point for every Php50 purchase using their EastWest Bank credit card.
     
  2. All purchase transactions from retail and service establishments are eligible to earn Rewards points including,  but not limited to, monthly amortization of installment transactions and cash advance.  Purchase transactions not eligible to earn Rewards points are, but not limited to, finance and interest charges,  late payment and other authorized penalty fees and annual membership fees.
     
  3. Points earned by the principal and supplementary cardholders are credited to and reside in the principal cardholder's  account as reflected in the cardholder's statement of account.
     
  4. Rewards points are neither transferable nor convertible to cash.
     
  5. The cardholder's Rewards points have no expiration date and are valid for as long as the cardholder's  card account is active and current.
     

REDEMPTION AND DELIVERY

  1. To redeem, the cardholder should fill-out the redemption form and send through fax at 325-2377. 
  2. The cardholder must have sufficient points and its card account must be active and current and not  over credit limit at the time of redemption.
     
  3. Please allow 15 to 25 working days for delivery of the Rewards items from the day EastWest Bank  receives the cardholder's redemption form.
     
  4. In the event that the principal cardholder is not available to personally receive the item, an authorized  recipient may receive the Rewards item upon presentation of a valid ID and authorization  letter signed by the principal cardholder.

  5. Gift certificates are usually valid for one (1) year from date of issuance of the merchant establishment  mentioned and not necessarily upon redemption of the cardholder.

  6. Once the redeemed item is received and accepted by the cardholder, this cannot be cancelled or exchanged if  the items are in good working condition.
     
  7. If the Rewards item is defective or damaged upon receipt, the cardholder can request for an exchange within  48-hours by calling EastWest Bank Customer Service Hotline 888-1700. You must include all its items and parts,  original manufacturer’s packaging, instruction and warranty certificates. If the exchange exceeds the 48-hour limit,  the warranty of the item within its warranty period with the Rewards item‚s manufacturer now stands and the cardholder  should facilitate its repair or replacement as the case maybe directly with the manufacturer of the Rewards item.
     

GENERAL GUIDELINES

  1. EastWest Bank shall have the exclusive and absolute right to forfeit Rewards points at any time based on the cardholder's  account handling due to delinquency or non-payment and involuntary or voluntary closure of account. EastWest Bank has  the exclusive and absolute right to reverse or forfeit Rewards redemptions and Rewards points earned from unauthorized or  disputed transactions.
  2. By redeeming, the cardholder consents to EastWest Bank supplying information required by third party service providers.

  3. The terms and conditions governing the issuance and use of EastWest Bank credit card are hereby incorporated by reference  and shall form an integral part hereof.
