Billings and Payments in Philippine Pesos
All your purchases, whether local or international, shall be billed and paid in Philippine Pesos to allow you to keep your foreign currency intact.
Lighter Payment Terms
At every billing cycle, you can choose to pay the total statement balance, the minimum payment due (which can be as low as 5% of your total statement balance), or any amount in between. Should you opt to pay an amount less than your total statement balance, an interest charge of only 2.75% per month will be applied.
High Cash Advance Limit
Your EastWest Platinum MasterCard allows you to avail yourself of cash advances of up to 70% of your credit limit at any EastWest ATM, over-the-counter at any EastWest store nationwide or at any ATM displaying the MasterCard and Cirrus logos. STATEMENT OF ACCOUNT
Your monthly Statement of Account (SOA) may be sent to your e-mail address on record or to your billing address.
Enjoy the benefits of the electronic Statement of Account (e-SOA) Facility Ė itís convenient, secure and earth-friendly. Your e-SOA will be sent to your e-mail address in a password protected PDF file. With an e-SOA, you can view your SOA anytime and keep the file without the paper clutter. An SMS advisory will be sent to your mobile number on record to let you know that your e-SOA has been sent.

LOST CARD PROTECTION
You can report the loss of your EastWest Platinum MasterCard anytime, anywhere through our 24-Hour Customer Service Hotline at 888-1700 or 1-800-1888-8600 Domestic Toll-Free which you can call collect. In the U.S., you may also call our Toll-Free Hotline at 1-866-828-6296. You will be free of any financial liability from fraudulent charges made on your EastWest Platinum MasterCard from the time you reported the loss.
For billing addresses within Metro Manila, replacement cards will be released for delivery within 3 banking days from the time the card was reported lost. While for addresses outside Metro Manila, replacement cards will be released for delivery within 7 banking days from the time the card was reported lost. A card replacement fee of Php400 shall be charged to your EastWest Platinum MasterCard.

2.75% per month, computed based on average daily balance (or 33% effective rate annually)
|Cash Advance Service
Fee & Interest Charge
3% of the cash advance amount or Php600, whichever is higher; and 2.75% interest charge imposed on the cash advance amount and Cash Advance Service Fee, which shall accrue from the date of availment until full settlement or payment.
A fee of Php500 will be charged for cash advance transactions availed over-the-counter at EastWest stores in addition to the cash advance service fee and applicable interest charge. The proceeds of the over-the-counter cash advance transaction shall be net of the over-the-counter fee.
|Late Payment Charge
6.50% of the minimum payment due or Php200, whichever is higher
|Over Credit Limit Fee
Php500 will be charged whenever the outstanding balance exceeds the prescribed credit limit within the billing period.
|Returned Check Fee
Php1,000 for every returned check
Php200 for the retrieval of each retail/installment and mail-order/telephone-order charge slip; Php1,250 for the retrieval of each travel and entertainment charge slip
Php400 for every card replacement
Transactions made in foreign currencies/merchants or those processed by foreign acquirers shall be automatically converted to Philippine Peso at the MasterCard currency conversion rate on the day the transaction is processed, plus a Foreign Currency Conversion Fee of 2.50% which is comprised of the MasterCard Assessment Fee and EastWest Service Fee.
|Gambling and Gaming Fee
A 5% service fee shall be charged on gaming/gambling transactions and/or transactions made at gaming/gambling establishments, including the placement of wagers, purchase of lottery tickets or other values in conjunction with any gaming or gambling activities.
|Multiple Payment Fee
Cardholders are allowed a maximum of three (3) payment transactions in EastWest Accredited Payment Channels posted within a statement cycle. A P50 fee will be charged for each EastWest Credit Card posted payment †after the 3rd††posted payment transaction. Payments made in EastWest Payment Channels will not incur any charges.

|Closed Card Account
For Closed Card Accounts which have credit balances, the cardholder shall make the appropriate arrangement with EastWest to collect the credit balance within three (3) months from the date when the Card Account is closed. Otherwise, EastWest shall deduct from such credit balance a monthly service fee of Php200 to cover for administrative costs incurred by EastWest in maintaining the cardholder's account.
The Minimum Payment Due is the minimum amount that must be paid on or before your Payment Due Date to avoid Late Payment Charge. It is composed of the following: (a) 5% of your Total Statement Balance inclusive of all fees and charges and monthly installment/s, if any, but exclusive of any unbilled installment amount and any amount in excess of your credit limit; (b) past due amount, if any; and (c) any amount in excess of your credit limit. The Minimum Payment Due is the sum of (a), (b) and (c); or Php500, whichever is higher.
At every billing cycle, you have the option to pay the total statement balance, the minimum payment due, or any amount in between. An Interest Charge will be imposed should you choose not to pay the Total Statement Balance on or before the payment due date as set out in your Statement of Account. The Interest Charge is based on your Average Daily Balance (ADB) computed from transaction date for cash advance, credits/payments and retail transactions/monthly installments/fees until the next cycle cut-off. Any Interest Charge due but unpaid shall form part of the principal balance and will continue to earn Interest Charges.
